More Bang for your Marketing Buck! Clay Campbell to Speak at AAF Lake Charles April Luncheon.

The AAF Lake Charles programs have been looking good this year. Thanks to a lot of research and a little good luck we've ended up with a consistent line-up of great speakers, and it looks like we're in for another fantastic presentation this April.

Our April 8th presenter is marketing consultant and entertainer Clay Campbell, and I think he might end up setting the new "great speaker" standard for our little club.

Clay is a Wizard of Ads partner that gives it to you straight. He has authored several books ("Escape from Mediocrity: Advice on Living the Above Average Life" and his latest book "Get Big Results from your Small Ad Budget", just to name a couple). And as if being a "tell it like it is" marketing wizard isn't enough, Clay and his family are also extremely talented musical entertainers. They operate "The Kentucky Opry" in Western Kentucky. Take a look at this video and you'll see that Clay and his family really know how to sell out the seats and put on a show.

After speaking with Clay on the phone and pouring over the information available on his website, it is clear that the man is full to the brim with advertising wisdom. I feel like his cheer and good humor are infectious (he's got the kind of personality that pours right on over the edge) and his messages are clear and pointed, designed to be understood and put to use immediately.

If I could urge you to pick one meeting to go to this year, just one lunch to add a little extra time to, then this is the one...and bring a client, or just a friend. We can all benefit from what Clay has to say.

So, pencil it in. If you love advertising the way that I do then I believe you'll leave this AAF meeting feeling like you really went to something special.

A QUICK TIP

Don't forget to bring a little extra dough to the April meeting 'cause Clay is going to be selling and signing copies of his latest book. I personally plan to pick one up.
